Chevy wiring diagram blower not working. I test the blower motor by hardwire it to the battery and its working also checked the fuse 40a and 10a of the ac and they are good. I have checked for loose wires. I have a 2005 chevy colorado. 1 i removed the harness and checked for loose or damaged wiring ok 2 replaced the resistor no help 3 removed the blowermotor and hot wired it to the battery it worked fine 4 checked for power at the brown wire on the blower connector has power.
Insulation colors help to trace circuits and to make proper connections. I fond the resistor and connector 1 pin black wire was melted i change the connector and resistor still not working. These diagrams are easier to read once they are printed. Common problems such as no blower or only working on certain speeds can be easily repaired once you understand how the different devices.
The blower stops then starts working on any setting. These are all essentially the same with manual controls. Usually only happens on days when temp. Then i opened the climate control switches and fund the brown wire burned out i changed the climate control panel still not working.
I changed the resister and the connecting harness that connects to it. Wiring harness and wires every wire is a specific size with colored or striped insulation that is indicated on the wiring diagrams. If you have any pre 1960 chevrolet diagrams not listed here. Blower does not work on any speeds.
Is above 100 degrees.
